I tried with my Macbook Pro and it copies both files no problem with SMB.

I am running latest stable release of DSM and Windows 10 Pro build 1809.

I triend with a VMware Windows 10 machine and get the same problem.

Both files are identical and have the same permission.

I can now copy FileB.pdf form the zTest folder to my desktop, but I still cannot copy FileA.

I then renamed the file "FileB.pdf" and uploaded the file using Windows Explorer to the zTest folder.

I then downloaded the FileA.pdf using the Filestation app into my Windows Downloads folder.

When I browse to \\Disktation\zTest\test\ using Windows Explorer (connected with username "Diskstation\eduard" and password), i can open the file, but cannot copy it to my desktop.

I moved one the the pdf's i was not able to download to this folder using the synology filestation.

I created a new share named zTest and gave username "eduard" permission to use it.

I am having a weird issue where, inside the same folder, I can copy some files but not others to my deskop.
